Back to Basics
General information & Location
The Manukuza Letaba Backpack Trail follows the meandering Letaba and Klein Letaba Rivers. These great river systems form our unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park resulting in the natural unrestricted movement of game. The trailests will be absorbed into an extremely remote and exclusive piece of Big 5 land. This location isolates us from the outside world and allows you to become totally immersed in an authentic bushveld environment where the ‘hustle and bustle’ of city life is forgotten.
Trailests need to be fit and in good health.
Our Wilderness Backpack trails are a self-sustained adventure guided by two trails guides. You will however be responsible for all your required gear. Nights are spent under the stars at a location chosen by your guides.
- Trails are selfcatering
- Trails are a minimum of 3 nights / 4 days
- Trails are booked for groups with up to 8 participants
- All participants are expected to take turns on night duty around a small fire.
- Cooking is done on gas stoves
- Minimum age of 16 years old
